Fiberglass Weld Backing Tape

Aquasol's Fiback tape is a solution to applications where traditional back purging isn't possible.  Ideal for plate and large diameter pipe, Fiback provides backside protection and ensures a high quality finish without the need to perform post weld grinding and cleanup.

Made of high quality materials, the tape is composed of two adhesive areas on the outside edges and a center fiberglass strip that is heat resistant to over 1,000°F and can withstand up to 600 amps.

Suitable for all types of welding, SMAW, TIG, and MIG, Fiback can conform to various shapes and uneven surfaces.  Cleanup is quick and easy and produces a high quality weld.
